HELLO OLD FRIEND...

An illustration created with intent to screenprint sometime next week, this drawing, orignally on sugar paper (roughly 1m x 50cm), has been photographed and played around with. The image is taken from the recent water experiments, inverted to create deep yellows. No reason, it just looks beaut'.

The drawing will be one of a pair, the other being an archaived favourite of mine;

LAYERS>

A few Images i made based on the idea of handmand layers.
Circle shapes cut out from national geographic/other sources and placed within the hood of a lamp, then photographed. the light allows both sides of the paper to be seen, often giving some really beaut' imagery.

close but no cigar....TYPO update.

First get together with some material, we created a mock up of the 'installation', and decided to make a few design alterations. Not only did we choose to use Helvetica for a more smooth visual, and ease of reading, but are using 4 lines per page as opposed to 2. This got things done double time, and we ended up with what looked like a pretty near....story.
